HEADS, in partnership with Penny Appeal, improved access to safe drinking water for vulnerable families in Charsadda and Nowshera through the installation of 50 shallow hand pumps. The project supported 392 beneficiaries, reducing the burden on women and children who previously walked long distances for water. Alongside installation, communities received hygiene awareness, kitchen gardening training, and O&M training for Village Development Committees to ensure long-term sustainability.
