Hygiene & Non Food Items (NFI) Support to the refugee families in hosting areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Project Objectives:

 • To provide hygiene and non-food items support to refugee families in hosting areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to improve their living conditions, promote health and ensure dignity

Key Activities: 

• Needs assessment and distribution planning: Conducted comprehensive needs assessments to identify the specific hygiene and non-food item requirements of refugee families in hosting areas. Based on the assessment, developed a distribution plan to ensure equitable access and timely delivery of essential items.
• Procurement and distribution of items: Procured and stocked essential hygiene items such as soap, sanitizers, menstrual hygiene products, and non-food items like blankets, clothing, kitchen utensils. Established distribution points where families received the items in a dignified and organized manner.
• Hygiene promotion and awareness campaigns: Carried out hygiene promotion and awareness campaigns targeting refugee families, emphasizing the importance of proper hygiene practices for health and well-being. Conducted training sessions and workshops to educate families on hygiene practices, including handwashing, sanitation and safe handling of food and water.
