PPAF Emergency Relief Assistance to the 2025 Flood Affected Communities

Health Education and Development Society (HEADS), with financial support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), has completed Six solar-powered water filtration plants in the flood-affected areas of District Buner and District Swat, restoring reliable access to safe, clean drinking water.
After the floods contaminated local sources, families relied on temporary water tankering. These new plants now provide a sustainable solution, producing 2,000 gallons of clean water per hour (15,000 gallons per day).
This achievement was made possible through strong coordination with the District Administration and local community committees, ensuring long-term sustainability, better health, and renewed dignity for affected families.
