𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬

Health Education and Development Society (HEADS), in collaboration with Penny Appeal has successfully completed and handed over 20 shallow hand pumps (Phase-1) in Village Hisro Kalla and Jalal Kallay, District Charsadda, as part of the initiative to install 50 shallow hand pumps across Charsadda and Nowshera. These hand pumps now provide families with safe and clean drinking water at their doorstep, easing the burden on women and children who previously walked long distances.

𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐬, 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨:

• Conducted a Health & Hygiene Awareness Session

• Distributed vegetable seeds for kitchen gardening

• Formed and trained a VDC O&M Committee, providing a maintenance toolkit
